Juventus great Alex del Piero believes Real Madrid star, Jude Bellingham deserves to win this year’s Ballon d’Or award.

Recall that the England international played a key role as Real Madrid defeat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in last night’s Champions League final.

Reacting after the game, Del Piero told Sky Italia that Bellingham has done enough to win the award.

“I hope that the Ballon d’Or is tied not only to the victories and defeats of a player, but to his real efficacy within the team, how much he can improve the squad and those around him,” Del Piero told Sky Italia, when discussing Bellingham, while at Wembley yesterday.
