President Federation Cup: Rivers Angels’ Ogbonda Thrilled To End ‘Trophyless Run’

Rivers Angels head coach, Whyte Ogbonda was relieved to win his first trophy following the club’s victory over Naija Ratels in the final of the President Federation Cup on Saturday.

The Port Harcourt club defeated Naija Ratels 1-0 in a keenly contested final at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.

Blessing Okpe’s first half strike from the penalty spot gave Rivers Angels victory in the game.

Ogbonda lost twice in the final of the competition during his stint with Ibom Angels in 2017 and 2018.
