Usyk, Fury Rematch Confirmed For December 21 In Riyadh

The Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s general entertainment authority, Turki Alalshikh has confirmed a rematch between undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury slated for December 21 in Riyadh.

Recall that the last time both fighters met, Usyk defeated Fury by split decision to become the first undisputed champion of the four-belt era on 18 May.

With his victory, Usyk now holds the IBF, WBO, WBA, and WBC titles, making him the first unified heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

However, Alalshikh via his official X handle on Wednesday, stated that no venue has been picked for the rematch.

“The world will watch another historical fight again,” Alashikh added on X.

“Our commitment to boxing fans continues. We hope you enjoy it.”
